I thought for sure there would be a thread but I did not find it so if there is sorry.
My wife is going to be close to the brewery for a wedding this weekend. Is it worth her stopping? Do they sell beers to go and if so is it a pretty good variety or things I could find at any liquor store? Checked their website and could not find anything on what they would have for sale.

They have a beer store on the same court that the restaurant and taproom are on that has a bunch of goodies in it. A lot of older vintage stuff packaged together like parabola 14' 15' with a couple of FW tulips. hit the beer store for sure.

That brewery store has moved up the road a little bit(near the storage facility I think)

It looks like it still has the cold storage where they keep all the beers, (vintages and current). 2 weeks ago Parabajava and SLOambic were available but that was at the previous brewery store location

Your wife should also check out Barrel House, which is just a minute drive away. Nice place to chill with a beer and they sell bottles too.

They just announced they will have their new revolving hop series beer Luponic Distortion will be available on Friday so she should definitely grab you some of that this weekend. The first batch was on tap at the anniversary party and for a while at the taproom and was awesome

in addition to the vintages mentioned above at a markup, they'd likely have several of the most recent proprieters series stuff avail at normal retail (merkin/monkee/sucaba/helldorado)

Was at the Buelton location on Sunday. Pretty disappointed they only had four vintage bottles in the Barrelworks.

I'll be passing through this weekend, is there anything worth stopping for as far as growler fills go? Or is it just all the stuff that is available for cheaper in bottles? I love luponic but seems silly to pay growler fill prices when bottles/cans are available.

Anyone know about Parabola/parajava availability in Paso right now?

I'm sure I'll buy one because I love FW barrel aged beers, but can anyone explain why a barrel aged porter is more than parabola?

because parabola is so under priced compared to what other BA stouts go for. I'm actually surprised it hasn't raised in cost over the years on those boxed BA firestone beers.

Has anyone been in, in the last few days? Was trying to get an idea of what bottles they have for sale.

Was there Saturday - it's imperial walkers reserve, rye DBA, a 4 year vintage anniversary vertical (to XVI I think), sucaba, helldorado, stickee monkey, lil opal and one other sour. When I was there tastes of hydra cuvee were available at 3$, but they were on their last keg.

Oh and parabajava comes back either mid Sept or mid Oct to the store, not the brewpub. Pacific gravity, their BA weizenbock, is also on tap at the taphouse for on premises consumption.

Any idea if Parabajava may hit distro (if even limited) this time or FW locations only again?

No clue on that one, but my gut says FW only again. I think it might be from the original release. The girl at the growler station said it came as a surprise announcement to her

I was there today, parabajava set to hit sept 24th, major bummer for me I was hoping to finally score some.

they had rye double dba and imp reserve, looking lke they are running low of rye ddba. no more Sucaba, saw monkee and helldarodo, agrestic and lil opal.

rye dba is fantastic but expensive, impy reserve is tasty too.
