I was there at 7:50. Got three bottles, two were left when I walked out the door.

And it's all gone! Keg and bottles are toast at Bottleworks.

Yeah, my Dad got the Bourbon Didactic and we had it tonight. It was really nice.

Regardless of quality at this point, I'm just excited to see more WA breweries doing sour beers. Can't wait for Schooner to make more of them and Fremont to start releasing theirs.

There was no line but a surge and continued stream upon opening. I knew it wouldn't last.

They sent 40 cases? You'll be lucky to trade for some Midwestern shelf beers with that much available...

450 Case limited release. No distribution... I think it'll be alright

No distribution? Except the distribution from Paso Robles to Seattle... not to mention the other PNC members.

I'm sure the back room at Bottleworks has a case or two waiting for a price increase.

They held back 20-25 cases, depending on who you ask at the shop, of the 65 they received.

Other than rare stuff from the cellar, I've never known Bottleworks to increase prices on stuff they hold onto.

Wouldn't holding onto 20-25 cases of a 450-case release, by definition, turn them into rare stuff from the cellar?

Wasn't FW XIV like $25 a couple months ago when they put out 5 cases of it?

To be fair to Bottleworks, it would be stupid of them not to charge some kind of premium for properly cellared beer. If it was me I'd charge about 7% to 10% per year over original MSRP.

Hoping they put some out sooner than later - was out of the country during the release...
