Wasn't too bad in NYC - not as bad as Parabola at least. If you get shut out, let me know. I can probably get you a bottle or two.

And none for Ohio. D: Some day (when we drop that ridiculous ABV cap) hopefully they will distribute here!

Maybe at all the obvious watering holes, but at some of the smaller places it sat for weeks.

Whoa, already??!? I'm still seeing some 2013s on the shelf still. Guess I'll have to grab one of those and do a side by side with it's predecessor.

I tried a few big places and a few small before I ended my search. Maybe if you score an extra bottle and I come up dry we can work something out, this is definitely a top 5 want for me right now.

Haha I appreciate the offer man, but I don't have any. Got there at 10:30AM, was told by Fred Karm's (the owner) dad that all the bottles were allocated and we should leave. So we left. Saw later that day that people who showed up as late as 1PM were able to get bottles after all. So I made a 2+ hour round trip for nothing just to find that out. Anyhow, thanks again. The reason I can't get these beers is people are only interested in whales. Cheers!

Wow, I was able to find this last year, on shelves into May-June. Guess I'll stock up this year to trade!

I slightly prefer the Sucaba over the BCBW. Just had a Sucaba tonight, so smooth and the boozy bourbon character counteracts the caramel/vanilla flavors beautifully. BCBW is delicious as well but seems to need a little more balance. Enjoy the side by side!

I still say that no one does barrel-aged better than Firestone. This stuff is magical.

I was talking with David Walker (over a Stickee Monkee) about two months ago and he said this will be the next addition to their reserve line up. He also made a comment that they will hopefully very soon be adding sours to their line up. But I don't see that happening until a least 2015.

Just found last year's on the shelf in RI, picked up two of those and XVI and XVII, also just sitting on the shelves here. Will hopefully try side-by-side with BCBBW, or with this year's vintage depending on when it is released.
