or nxt week ? will find out more tomorrow :-)

I think from now on FSW is going to pack 6 bottles to a case of all there barrel age stuff and places like E1G will only be getting a case & that means only 6 happy customers :slight_frown:

    Cheers,
    Sam

I can confirm that it is 6 bottles per pack of Sucaba. I saw it in Portland just sitting on the ground. 6 cases. One store. 4 bottles were sold in between the 3 days that I was at the store.

I've been told that the BA releases are 6 per case going forward as well...

I always hear these stories about amazing beer just sitting at stores. That never happens here (or do we not appreciate what we have). What gives?

Every time I go to Portland/Eugene, this is the case. Sucaba, Parabola and 17 were just sitting everywhere last time I went. Those guys have it good

Yea I was in Santa Rosa in December and went to a store called Beercraft. They had tons of Parabola, Sucaba, and Anniv just sitting on the shelves with a light layer of dust on the boxes. Who knows how long it had been sitting..

What gives is that they have so many damn breweries available to them that it just takes a while for those to sell.

Here, we are starting to get more and more, and hopefully that will start happening.

As far as other shelf turds there, they just did a cellar release of bottles like 2009 Abyss among others....none of them were really selling either in the 4 days that I was there.

I also think that they actually have bottle shops around while we do not really have that....and a lot of them. We seem to have a lot of convenience stores that double as bottle shops and it just isn't the same thing. While it is great to have them providing us with beer and getting into that market, there is something about walking into an actual bottle shop where that is their main focus. I am curious if distributors will treat a bottle shop with better stuff if that does happen (speaking from an Austin standpoint).

I saw multiples of 2013 Sucaba, DDBA, FW 17 and FW 16 sitting on the shelf at a store in Rhode Island when I was there in December.

Label was just approved, right? So maybe it will start popping up on Monday?

Same goes for Boise. Moving there in the next 12 months or so, so that's going to be a nice treat. Same goes for Abyss and all Deschutes.

Now that this mornings' frenzy is done.

Did we see this yet? At last word it was sitting in the dist warehouse waiting approval, which is done.

*Rumor Warning* A friend who works for a distributor heard a RUMOR that FW was tired of waiting for approval so they wanted to give it to other states. Anyone hear anything similar?
