Firestone Walker - Sucaba 2014 Release

I seem to remember buying Parabola last year around May. This is back before I could buy tasty BCBS.

 

I'd take a pile of Sacagaweas over a pile of trash.

 

I'm late to the party. Did Sucaba already land in TX? Or is it coming up?

 

FSW's 6 bottle cases are really starting to piss me off. Are they going to double the # of cases we get now?

 

lol...every place I went in Fort Worth looking for 17 only got 1 "case." 6 bombers. I was lucky to get one actually. An employee at Specs said they didn't have it. I turn around and a guy I knew was carrying one. 5 min of browsing shelf turds later, a different employee came out saying "you looking for this?" I was like damn...I am VIP!

I really can't recall how 17 drank either. *pours hop slam*

 

Grabbed the very last bottle of '14 Sucaba at the Hill Country Galleria Twin Liquors on my way back from JK today. It was just hanging out in the cooler...

'14... it was weird. Talked to they guy at the register and he told me the distributor "had been hooking him up lately"... whatever that means. They've still got Coffee Noir just hanging out in the cooler as well...

If FW keeps pulling this shit with 6 pack cases and severely limited production I won't buy another beer from them as long as I live. I'd much rather support AB Inbev than these guys. You have to know you're going to cause problems with giving each store 6 bottles.

 

I am not sure where people are getting the idea that stores are only getting one case. How they package is their business. Stores that got cases in the past are still receiving 12 bottles. One store where it came in this week got 24 bottles. 6/case just means they get more "cases".

Total Wine Plano had Sucaba yesterday for 14.99 and Uncle Jacobs for 12.99

 

This is not necessarily true. At least with 17, I know of a few stores that received only one 6 bottle case.

Granted, Hall's might have held some back, but this week, they only sold 6 bottles.

 

Check with Fern on that number. He told me they had 24 bottles. If they only had six, it would never have made it on facebook.

 

I might be wrong on the Hall's number then. Based on the way facebook read ("to the 4 people..." and then "2 bottles left"), I assumed he sold 6.

 

I still maintain that, at least on the westside of town, several places only received one 6 bottle case of 17.
