Er...no. From the FW pages for Sucaba and Parabola:
In my experience, Firestone Walker's barrel-aged beers cellar beautifully, and Sucaba is noticeably better with at least a year on it.

To best age, but they did not say improve. In my experience, those beers don't age well. YMMV.

So interestingly, I spoke with a rep from Firestone this summer who indicated they were not going to release DDBA in 2015 in order to put it on a 2 year aging cycle before release due to the beer's heat after only a single year of aging.

It isn't being released in 2015 but that is not the reason.

IMO 2014 DDBA wasn't good. Far too sweet. Though I am mostly commenting so I can find out why FW isn't releasing DDBA in 2015.

It will be all over. TW's, Bevmo's, Whole Foods and local bottle shops. It will last a few weeks (months at the smaller shops; I just bought a bottle last month). From what I've seen it doesn't fly off the shelves like Parabola but doesn't sit like DDBA did/does. I'm in the South Bay, btw.

Sucaba is super hot, would love to age some. Too bad we hardly see any in Buffalo

This is my favorite barrel aged barley wine to date. Must score.

how much does this beer vary from year to year? Like it seems that Parabola has large variation whether barrels used or whatever just curious if anyone knows

Drank an Abacus a few months ago and thought it was outstanding.
