    Was in Ventura, CA today and saw at least 10 sitting on a shelf at Five Points Liquor store. Dude said they've been sitting there for weeks

    Just a heads up. The FW brewery store has been enforcing limits. Parabajava was 4 on release day and 1 after. Sucaba has been 3 bottles per person since release day. Parabola will probably be the similar.

    shared one of my bottles over the weekend - did not disappoint. lots of caramel and vanilla...a bit sweet but works really well altogether. a complex, well-balanced sipper as hoped/expected.

    I'm having a buddy of mine in Cali pick up a bottle of Parabola (part of a trade) for me as I know it will be nearly impossible to find in NY for a reasonable price. Still haven't seen anything about a concrete release date. I see on the FW site that the 2015 release occurred on 3/31/15 last year. Have heard this year it is 3/1/16 but nothing official. Any word on this?

    Last time I was in there they still had 2015 sucaba, stickee monkee, XVIII, and a couple others. It's pretty common to find FW barrel aged beers for up to a year or more after release all over this area, except Parabola.

    This is off subject, but the sign in the FW Brewery Store said Parabola release date was 3/19/16. This was when I was there about four weeks ago.

    I know it was a little off topic, but I felt it was related enough given that it is a FW boxed beer, there isn't a thread specifically for the Parabola release this year, and didn't want to start a thread just for one answer. Thanks for the heads up though! Hope I can finally get my hands on this delicious treat.

    Thanks for the info after the Parabajava mess it makes sense. I'll be at both Buellton and Paso so shouldn't be much of an issue. Not looking for trade bait just want enough for me to enjoy throughout the year.

    Saw in South Lake Tahoe yesterday with Velvet Merkin and Helldorado. Lots of boxes of all three if I won more money at the casino would have went back to buy more up
