Where in Austin? I'm about to go on my lunch break and I wouldn't mind picking up a bottle.

Really? What FW barrel aged beers have you had that you think taste the same? Personally I think Helldorado, Sucaba and Stickee Monkee share many similarities but nothing close to the same as Merkin, Parabola, Anniversary or Parabajava.

I am constantly on the road for work so get to hit the best beer bars around the country. Love the "milk and cookies" night at OL on Tuesdays.

$22 per bottle here in Rhode Island. While I love these boxed releases from FW, I only buy Parabola now because the prices have gotten out of hand in these parts. They were selling for 15 bucks 2 years ago.

Depends on the shop obviously. Got two bottles. Two different shops over a 10 day period. Both under $20. I live over the border in CT so RI is my saving grace when it comes to FW releases.

Interesting. The place I usually go to is pretty reasonably priced. I'll have to do some research regarding FW releases.

I paid a ridiculous $27 each for 2 bottles. If it weren't Sucaba, I wouldn't have spent that much.

Here in Seattle, I see it from $15.99 to $16.50 or so, which I imagine is within the range of the MSRP. If you see it for a lot more, it's probably an unfortunate consequence of your geography, or the fact that your local bottle shop is bilking you.

Sucaba is a great beer, but no one should support over-pricing by purchasing it at egregiously inflated price points...

Place where I got mine was still $16 today....had a couple left.

I went in looking for the Parabola they were supposed to have, but didn't.
