Picked one up last night, can't wait to try it out.

 

Landed in San Diego county this week. La Jolla Whole Foods $15.99. Plenty fair.

 

You don't really want Big Hugs. It's not that good.

 

Got bottles at FW a couple of weeks ago. $16.99 at the FW store. Also had a mini vertical of '15 and '16 on tap. If the bottles were bad, it certainly didn't affect the kegs. The '15 was just a richer, smoother, more balanced version of its' younger sibling. Picked up one more at a local NorCal liquor store tonight for the same price.

 

Just got a few today, can't wait to pop this bad boy. Cheers

How does it compares to other exemplary quads like the classics Westy 12, Rochefort 10 and St Bernardus 12?

 

It's a barleywine, actually. Stickee Monkee is their quad.

Let's be honest, Stickee Monkee is more of a BW than a Quad.

MA does see the proprietor's series, but they can take up to a month (or two sometimes) to make it out here after the CA release. Sucaba hasn't landed in MA yet, but I'd give the bottles shops you frequent a call and check in over the next couple of weeks, in MA Parabola goes real quick but the rest seem to linger for anywhere from a few days to a week or so.

 

Just drank a bottle of '15...pretty damn good to me!

 

It has landed in Denver this week.

If it helps, I have found these offerings a few days after their arrival in Loveland! Can't remember which store, but it was one of the ones on the road that eventually heads towards Estes Park

I think CBC told me they only got 6, I really like those guys though, always down for a beer conversation

 

This arrived in Sacramento area yesterday too.

Locally my regular bottle shop got 3 cases and we're limiting to 1 because they didn't get as much as they thought, said they may get more later.
Total wine had 10 cases I could see and were also limit 1 bottle until they see how it sells.
Bevmo had 4 cases that I saw, but limit was 2 bottles, they were also 16.99 vs 15.99 at the other 2

 

Anyone heard an update on when this will hit Chicago? I'll ask my stores next time I'm in there, but wasn't sure if others had heard ETA's already.
