There is a black triangle (pointing down) on the label. Think about that.

Can always order the tekus online still too. Easily the best packed glassware I've seen from a brewery. Got to me a day after I ordered too.

Obviously this is way out-of-date intel, but I snagged 2 tekus at the Paso taproom the weekend of the FW Invitational. So they do make their way to the Paso outpost - just not sure how reliably.

Super excited for this! Beerpulse also said that PNC is going to be released exclusively to certain pubs, 450 cases total :grimacing:

Really, I was there in June and told the Tekus are only in Buelton with the exception of when Firestone holds special events in Paso.

Publican Bars. I think they are in Chicago? Not sure but this will be an insta-whale for where ever they are released, hope they keep some local so I can get a bottle.

I think they just mean real craft beer pubs, the ones that help them out the most.

PNC (Publican National Congress) is a collaboration that they brewed with specific bar owners - I haven't seen a full list of who was there, I know that Dave Keene (Toronado), Chris Black (Falling Rock) and the Matts from Bottleworks & Brouwers were involved, and you can see pics here and perhaps recognize someone that I didn't. The beer is going specifically to the bars whose owners were involved in the brew.

Saw David Walker with the box for this at a meet n greet before the invitational. I want one so bad that I almost begged him for it lol

Apex is supposed to be included in the PNC release too.

Had this on tap at Brouwer's stout fest during Seattle Beer Week, although the server told me it was a bourbon barrel version that is part of the final tequila barreled blend. I can't verify the accuracy of that statement, but it was my favorite of the event.

Just had the PNC on tap at Toronado, excellent stuff but strong, and different. Picked up 2 bottles at $25 a piece.

Any thoughts that PNC would show up at either Paso or at the Barrelworks? Sure doesn't look like any place in SoCal will be getting PNC.

Earl, I sure hope so! I had this (several times) on tap at the XVI release party last year, and it was definitely a hit!

If not, does anyone know of a list of the bars that received the PNC bottles?

Assuming all the PNC members listed in the flyer enclosed with the bottles are getting allocations, the list would consist of: Horse Brass Pub and Apex in PDX, Toronado (both the SF and SD outposts), Monk's Cafe in Philly, Falling Rock in Denver, and Brouwer's in Seattle. No idea if any other places are snagging any.

I would've asked but the old bartender would've killed me. They had maybe 4 cases out on the shelf, hard to say how much in reserve. 450 cases split between seven bars and maybe the FW brewery, could be up to 55 cases each. I could see then selling some bottles now and saving a lot to release over the coming years. They have it on tap at Toro too and it was delicious, the barrel wasn't quite as sweet/coconut forward like their usual barrel aged stuff, I'm excited to see what it'll be like in a few years.
