They had a tasting at a beer store in my area today. As I like many of their beers I stopped by with some friends, they were pouring Pivo Hoppy Pils, Solace, Union Jack, Wookey Jack, and Sucaba. Later the guy from FW brought out a bottle of the 16th anniversary ale and poured tastes. I was really excited for this since I have a bottle of it in my cellar and now don't feel much pressure to open it anytime soon. At the tasting I did find myself pinning for my favorite FW brew though. I like Parabola and Sucaba alot, Union Jack and Wookey Jack are both really good, and the DBA is great too. However, the beer I keep finding myself going back to time after time is Double Jack. Love that stuff, especially on tap. What's your favorite?

Sucaba is by far my most favorite. I do like their Pivo Pils and their double Jack too. I really should retry their DBA and Solace. I as well have a 16th anniv stashed away waiting to have. Their beers are solid.

Double Jack is probably my favorite of their non-barrel-aged beers. So glad we can get that reasonably fresh on shelves in 4-packs around here nowadays. One of the best shelf IPAs you can get, IMHO.

Sucaba is my favorite of their barrel-aged beers. That beer is just amazing and probably only bested by King Henry in all of the BBA Barleywines I've had.

Unfiltered DBA on cask is also amazing as well as the Pale 31. Wish I could find those more often in bars in that format.

Wookey Jack is my favorite, followed very closely by Double Jack.
Wish Parabola made it to my area when it was released; that'd probably beat out Wookey I'd imagine.

Parabola with a close second to Sucaba. I will second the endorsement of WJ though. This beer fresh is really a delight to my tastebuds. Had velvet merlin for the first time recently and I really enjoyed that as well. Great brewery from top to bottom.

Double jack and Wookey jack are the only two I have had the chance to try and they're two of my favorite beers.

Parabola is my most favorite beer in the entire world. It ages perfectly! As far as hoppy beers, Wookey Jack is unreal! One of my favorite hoppy beers.

Double DBA on tap is magnificent........definitely a winner, but doesnt come around that often.........so the gold medal goes to Double Jack......when fresh that shit is liquid gold!

Same here! I had this on tap back when the brewery had it. I plan on getting at least a case. I'm rather blessed that FW is just west of me and only around a 2 hour drive.

The one FW beer that surprised me the most was Double Jack. I had no expectations prior to trying it.

It was just really, really good!
