Not unless Firestone had a lot of extra Black Xanthus kegs lying around. I had this on tap in June and more importantly, was not year marked on the tasting list, and the description was different, than the one labeled for 2011. They also specified the coffee used, El Diablo from Intelligentsia.

I got some bottled in May up here and I just didn't like it. It had a weird sour tinge, and it's the same sour taste I get from beers like Shipyard, Gearys, Woodstock and North Coast. I know shipyard, woodstock and gearys use a ringwood yeast so I wonder if FS and NC use one too and that's why I'm not a fan.

Excluding the yearly 22oz releases, I only ever see Union Jack, Double Jack, Wookey Jack, and Walker's Reserve. So I gotta go with Double Jack. D

I really liked 15 but only had a few sips so cant be sure I liked it more than DDBA. Sucaba comes in close right after that.

I am absolutely in love with Rufus. Solace is amazing as well, although I can't think of a FW beer I don't like.

Just got to try PNC and it blew me away, sad we'll only see it in bottles once though. Velvet Merkin was great last year, and UDBA is sublime at the brewery, I always grab a growler when I'm there. Double/Wookey Jack are hard to beat for their styles as well. Their quality all around is just ridiculous. The firkin of Union Jack we got at work last week was so delicious...

Double Jack is just fantastic. Pivo Pils is pretty good too!

I have a bomber of Velvet Merkin waiting in the wings right now as well. I've heard good things so I am excited to add it to a list of favorites.

Double jack is probably my favorite from them. I brewed a clone recipe of it that was fairly close. It was awesome having five gallons of it kegged.
