Firestone Walker Wookus

Are you checking dates or just when you hear about the initial canning?

 

Dates, if I don't know them I'll spend my money on something else. There still plenty of old Inferos on shelves at several out my usual spots.

 

Still Inferos hanging at mine... bummed.

 

For those who dig the black IPAs, Wookus definitely scratches the itch. I'm sure the freshness issue isn't critical per style, that thing was hopped up and had serious malt presence also. Should age nicely

 

Man, I'm starting to worry that FSW will be next to pull a Green Flash. I'd hate to lose access to their vintage line, but if the LvU and LD series continue to rot in warehouses and on shelves...

 

Guess my bitching paid off...finally dropped today at one of my usual spots.

 

Ones that showed up today are 8 days old. /endrant

 

Still haven't seen any in my area and I'm about 4 hours south of Firestone Walker or about 90 minutes from Venice. I was really looking forward to this release.

Scored a four pack of Wookus at Belmont Station in Portland (OR) on Saturday. Canned on 12/27, our wedding anniversary.

Not sure about their stock depth. Just asked for it at the front and the clerk walked over and handed me a box out of the cooler.

A hand's breadth away was sitting 4-packs of this year's Founders KBS. In the bar, Pliny the Elder on tap as well, so a triple score for us.

Bank account is a bit lighter now. We will probably get into it this weekend.

 

Nothing in CT. yet as far as I know.
