Firestone Walker XVI

Just picked up some at Binny's in Plainfield, it must be in Chicago.

Picked up six at Main Street in Countryside.

 

Got 1 when I picked up a Bourbon County Coffee. Now if I could just find a Cherry Rye.

 

it got here last week. forgot where i posted it, but archer liquors got it at about 22 or 24. and they had xv for 22 or 24. i figured the aged one is pricier. two pack bundle was 42 bucks.

 

Got two here yesterday on the eastern edge of DuPage County -- both places I bought at had a one-bottle limit. Saw six at the Prestige on Cass in Westmont this morning; decided that at $23.99 per the two I already had would suffice.

 

Got one at Archer Liquors on Saturday. It was limit one.

 

When I called Archer Tuesday, they said they had a good supply of XVI left. And they're open today 'til 3. Great store!

 

Seeing as how XV sat on shelves forever (and probably still is in some stores) I wouldn't worry too much about XVI IMO.

 

I haven't seen a XV in the wild since late spring. It disappeared in my area when Sucaba came out.

 

had it on draft last night. twice. this is tasty.

 

Surprisingly, I haven't seen it in the City of Chicago yet. I work in the northwest suburbs and they haven't seen it yet either. It seems that only the south and southwest suburbs have seen it so far. Has anyone else seen it in any other areas yet?

 

Saw it in the northern burbs last night. And I know of at least one place that still has XV on the shelves, for those debating that topic.
