My Costco has gotten all the Vintage series releases, though from what I can tell, only about 4 6-bottle cases each time. Like @thome50, can't speak to Costcos further afield from Paso/Buellton.

I've found Parabola (bought cases of it), DDBA, and Velvete Merkin all at costcos in Los Angeles. So it reaches south some.

Good thing you had them charge you the right amount. It could've been a hassle at the door where they check your receipt.

Had the same thing happen to me with parabola. I corrected the cashier as well. The barcode on the case is the same as on the individuals.

I went to the costco in san luis obispo last saturday, and bought two XVIII for 17.50 each, which is a great price. Don't know how fresh they usually are, but the double jack was from 10/24, which aint bad considering they charge 6 bucks, which is 2 to 3 dollars cheaper and fresher than just about everywhere else right now.

When he told me 4, I said "Wow, four cases". He said no, bottles. I thought it was a little strange, but your probably right - two could be accounted for between himself and/or his buddies.

My friend secured a case at Bevmo HB (I believe). They pricematch $25 to TW $20 btw.

Not here yet, always takes forever for special releases to get here.

If I am in San Diego in a week in a half, should I expect to be able to find it on the shelves somewhere?

It'll likely be sitting around at BevMo. It tends to stick around a little due to the price point.

Yeah. Probably at Whole Foods, too. You almost definitely will find it at some of the independent stores (e.g. Palm Springs Liquor).

I'll be passing, though if it on tap somewheres I probably will go give it a try.
