    Halloween will never be the same again....

    Tickets for our XIX Anniversary Party go on sale Monday, August 31st at 12pm noon PST. To get access to the party, you must purchase either three or six bottles of our XIX Anniversary Ale. Each person attending must have their own ticket, four-ticket max per purchase.. The party includes rare & vintage Firestone Walker beers, amazing beer & food pairings (while supplies last), live music, a beer-inspired Halloween costume contest, & one epic time (guaranteed!).

    Hop On Beer Tours are offering shuttles from Buellton, San Luis Obispo & Paso Robles. Space is very limited so reserve your spot now via Eventbrite.



    ticket options:
    Three bottles of XIX: $75 plus fees

    Six bottles of XIX: $150 plus fees

    Buellton Bus: departs from Firestone Walker Taproom/Barrelworks at 9am: $25 roundtrip

    San Luis Obispo Bus: departs from the SLO Veteran's Hall at 10am: $15 roundtrip

    Paso Robles Van: departs from both the Courtyard Marriott & Hampton Inn at 10:15am: $10 roundtrip

    I don't think they've announced the final blending ratio, but only five beers were used this year - Parabola, Stickee Monkee, Velvet Merkin, Helldorado, and Bravo. I'm hoping it tends towards the stout end of the spectrum and is lighter on the Helldorado.

    This is usually the best release party of the year with all the component and vintage beers that get brought out. Brings the fun of the Barrelworks liberations to the big house.

    I don't have huge expectations...I've never been to Firestone let alone one of their party's.
    What vintage and rares are they likely to pour?

    I have family in the area so thought it would a perfect opportunity to secure 6 bottles of the anniversary XIV.

    I really like when FW brings the anniv to LA with select other barrels and I can drink as many as I want nearby.

    They usually go several years back on Anniversary beers as well as showcase all the individual component beers. The rest is usually one off special barrels that get brought out for parties only along with some Barrelworks sours.

    I drank a 14th anniversary in September and was one the best beers I have ever drank besides being the oldest aged beer I've drank man o man FW has barrel aging down to an exact science!!!

    I typically don't dig age on those firestone beers, but yeah. Had 14th yesterday along with 15th and both were tasting fantastic.

    i have not had a 14 in a while but last year when did my veritcal went back to 13 and had thought the older ones have fallen off a bit. They were still good but had past their peak level.

    It seems to be a crapshoot aging them (except Parabola which is always good). i think you're better off drinking fresher, but i've also had amazing results (like with some earlier Sucabas)

    in other words, i have no clue
