Has the anny beer hit Chicago yet? I'm hoping to find a bottle or 2 when I'm in town for thanksgiving
If I recall, it didn't really hit the city until the week before Thanksgiving, and it hit the western suburbs the week of Thanksgiving.
I've already missed it at my regular places. Each bottle shop got a single case, 6 bottles each and all were gone immediately
One of the Binnys by me sold out in less than a half hour. My regular independent place got 6 bottles and were basically all spoken for in advance. Quite a change from the 15, where the same place got 36 bottles and some were on the shelf until the following summer.
Went super fast. The usual FW distro pattern in which it hits the city a week or two before most of the 'burbs didn't hold true; both got it last week. It's a good beer but all that Parabola in it really does make it more of a one note brew than the past few IMO.
