I want to try my hand at my first all grain brew soon. I am currently in the stages of making my first Mash Turn (a 10 gallon Home Depot insulated cooler). Anyways, I want to do a East Coast style of IPA (Congress St. or Julius type) more like fruit juice in color and taste. Does anybody have a recipe or anything to help me get going on this? I know the yeast is a big factor so which commercial yeast would be a close fit for this?

Sorry if this is dumb, I am still learning. Thanks in advance.

The fruit juice style IPAs are made mostly with late kettle hops and post boil steeped hops. Take a look at the Northern Brewer Heady Topper clone kit as a point of reference.

    For example:

Moderate bittering hop amount at 60 minutes.
Relatively large hop addition at 5 minutes.
Add more hops at flame out.
    Chill to 150-180
Add more hops and steep for 15-60 minutes.

A more traditional IPA would have more hops added at earlier points of the boil such as 60/30/15/10/5/0, but not necessarily all of them.
