Hmm... Vegas and I think it was a Michelob as we walking into our first casino of the day (my birthday)... Don't remember much about the trip after that point but I heard I had a lot of fun and didn't get arrested

Rheingold at a bar called The Dugout in NYC around 1969. The first beer I ever bought was at Madison Square Garden at a NY Rangers game, no idea what it was but it cost .75 cents. (I was under age)

Mine was at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich as a 15 yr old. I was pretty drunk after drinking one of those steins.

My first beer bought was sadly some landshark to share with my pops. But at the time it was still brewed in Jacksonville Fl and not owned by AB. First beer at a bar legally bought was a Flying Fish Extra Pale Ale. Kept it local!

Uh, "Landshark Lager" has always been an Anheuser-Busch product (and they have a brewery in Jacksonville, FL, opened in 1969).

I didn't start drinking till after I turned 21; I don't remember what the beer was, just that I didn't finish it and took no end of crap from my buddy.

Pretty sure it was a Guinness at The Irish Bank in SF. Think we were 20 but since I look fresh off the boat Irish, they let us slide.

My first legal one was at Upper Crust Pizza in Bishop, CA. I wasn't sure what to order so I picked the biggest bottle (Mammoth Brewing Floating Rock Hef) because all the taps were dry. The first draft I had at a bar was HB Beer Co. Indicator IPA. Even without know what an IPA really should taste like I knew it was filthy.

I turned 21 on an island in Canada, so when I got back to the States a few days later my friends thought it would be mandatory for me to get to a bar that night (yes, it was my first time going out to drink). I was exhausted, but we split a couple pitchers of Molson in honor of my previous week away. Nothing fancy and it was a mediocre at best sports bar, but hey - I have fond memories of the night.

Rice doesn't replace hops. That'd be one weird beer.

First bar beer, damn, probably a Bud or a Schaefer. First legal beer was a Schmidts.
