Schaefer! It was $1.25 a pitcher at a bar near the University of Maine in 1995. Couldn't pass it up then. Now I know better.

Schaefer!! The one beer to have when you're having more than one. Now that was great marketing.

First legal beer at a bar was probably Heineken.

It was an IPA at a local brewpub when I was 20. Loved it. Was also my first local beer and hoppy beer.

no idea what it was. All I know is that I was 14, I was in Germany, and knowing me, it likely was a local bock beer.

Had to really think about this one, but I think it was Killians Irish Red on tap at TGI Fridays, celebrating my 21st birthday with my ex. That was a loooooong time ago! haha

I was in Paris and 18years old... it was either Guinness or Carlsberg, fantastic experience even if the beer wasn't that special.

To the best of my recollection it was a bottle of Budweiser at a local bar.

The first time I went into an American bar I was 18, and they had Molson XXX on special for $2. I had a few.

Man, that stuff is rough. But for an 18 year old kid who wanted a buzz, it got the job done. Still think most Molson beers are far better than most BMC beers.

My dad's a BMC guy, usually PBR, but he's on a Labatt Blue kick, I think he said they're selling 28 packs, under $20 in NJ. Labatt and Molson are decent enough for BMC stuff, certainly better than Bud and Coors. I've always wondered how AB even got that much carbonation in a beer without blowing up cans and bottle caps flying off, always makes me feel crappily bloated after drinking one.

Underage bar I used to go to served Miller Genuine Draft. That was probably what my first was.

Schaefer beer - 20 cents for a 12 ounce glass in 1971 at the Club Bar in Hicksville NY - building was torn down years ago. Back then you could get a six pack for less than $1.

It was probably a Shiner Bock. Can't remember which bar, though. Have narrowed it down to two. Probably the small one attatched to the back of a gas station located in a small bay-side community.
