    What causes a porter to taste sour?

    Can you share any more details of the beer you made? Just off of that it sounds like your porter is infected.

    Sour how? Green apple? Could just be young yet, but we really need more info. When was it brewed? Fermentation temp? Bottle date?

    Poor brewing technique, an infection, recipe, it just depends on what you did/didn't do.
