First beer that got you into trading...

2014 Huna was my first ISO. Got it done locally in the STL. First BA ISO was for Mexican Cake (I think)

I remember my first trade. I got Pappy Van Wink BORIS and my beloved FIS for some BCBCS. Never been happier. Now I have a permanent beer brother.

 

My first trade was for Black Tuesday, I traded some Dark Lord.

been doing the Harp, Bass, Guiness, Amstel, Heinie thing for a long time but this was an eye-opener. quickly moved to Storm King (so this is what a stout is supposed to taste like) and Old Horizontal (WTF is a barleywine?).

I'm a lurker. I haven't traded in some time but my first trade was also for KBS. The weird thing is it was a 4pk/4pk trade for 2009 Nemesis....and it was with jojomdma.

 

My first trade was for 3 Pliny. Got a couple Blind Pigs and a RR sour as extras.

 

Traded DL for abacus and Pliny with @nightwing002 about 3.5 years ago! I hold him responsible for my addiction...

 

I was always fairly happy with what I could get locally or on vacation then I heard about this crazy thing called "Dark Lord" and it's variants. I have still not successfully traded for a variant

 

Can't remember that far back, wish I could though.

 

My first trade was for some Colorado locals (Odell, Upslope) for a sixer of Bells Best Brown last November

Cuvee de Tomme. Went to the brewery back in 2008 and asked for a bottle. They laughed at me (back then I didn't realize it was a once a year brew). Joined BA and within a month landed a bottle.

 

I was brand new into craft beer and decided to track down the top 50 craft beers from the 2012 Homebrewer's association list. Pliny the Elder was the one I had to get creative to find and then after getting that I decided to take my wife on a wine trip to Sonoma during the Pliny the Younger release. It was a great trip.

My first trade was a bottle of PtE that I brought back and a few Prairie bottles for some Hopslam and Jai Alai.
