Victory's Hopdevil, I believe. Hated it, now it's one of my favorite IPA's

What about the rest of you?

That's a hell of a beer for your first. Mine was Labatts around 8th grade. We were staying with a family in Canada and they had a beer fridge in the basement.

Mine was Bud Light. I didn't like it then, don't like it now. My first craft beer was New Glarus Spotted Cow. I didn't like that at the time either, but in hindsight it was a good choice

Hmmm my first beer was probably a can of miller light that i snuck out of the fridge when i was a wee lad. My first craft beer i believe was a 60 minute. It's pretty funny because at the time my palate was just not ready for an IPA like that and i hated it. now its one of my go to session beers haha

Sometime in Jr. High School, in my parents game room alone, drinking my first Iron City and smoking my first cigarette. The beer drinking was part of my future...the cigarette's were not.

Pretty sure mine was Ballantine Ale, it was the only beer my Dad drank. With friends in High School I distinctly remember cans of Milwaukee's Best Light and Keystone Light.

Oh this is a sad fact, Genny Light. Oddly enough, we were building a cabin, and my father used the empty beer cans as a level. Aka- Genny Level  if the can stayed put, must be level.

Fast forward 15 years and camp still has a heavy sag to the left. Name of camp; Genny Left Hunting Lodge

My first craft beer was Edmund Fitzgerald

High School 1976. A friend up the street had scored some Busch Bavarian. Took a sip and immediately spit it out. Tasted horrible. First full beer (1978): Miller High Life. Easy drinking, decent tasting.

Your first beer was a craft? Lucky.

Mine was Budweiser at a BBQ when I was a kid. So gross.

Well, Bud sitting on my grandfathers lap at the age of 3 or 4. I remember the moment, but not the exact age.

Then later in life it was Natty Lite.

My dad let me take sips of various beers when I was 10-12. Never liked the taste, but I was intrigued, I guess you could say.

First entire beer I drank was Bud Heavy at 15. Still hate it 13 years later.

heh, the first beer I tried would have been my dad's Brador when I was about 2. I have a picture somewhere of me having a sip...
First good beer, when I actually knew something, was Dixie's Blackened Voodoo, I was probably about 15. A friend of the family owned a store and brought some interesting "weird" beers over. I was first amazed by the label and the art (still do like that label) and when I did try the beer... wow!! It had flavor! it was dark! what a concept.
I never did get into Bud and so forth, even when my friends did, and would get wasted on weekends in high school. I'd maybe walk around with one in my hand, but never actually drank it.

dad let me try a sip of his coors when i was about 8. I think the first time I ever snuck alcohol though, i went big and got hammered on rum when i was about 13
