I tried to give it a chance but i found Heavy Seas Yule Tide to be a boozy fruity murky mess, got halfway through and gave up...any others?

i threw away a barrel aged arrogant bastard... way too boozy for my taste. a pumpkyn, way too sweet. a hommelbier 2013 that had a drink by 2016 date... tasted like pine-sol. also threw away a 2012 3 philosophers on new years since me and my buddy passed out while camping... i did get a sip and it was delicious but it went flat the next day.

Gouden Carolus Christmas. This was really nasty. If you want to replicate it at home, just get a decent 75cl bottle of classic Belgian ale, then add half a pound of sugar and half a pint of Pernod/Ouzo/Ricard/ or any other aniseed liquor you might have to hand...

Awful, unbalanced, harsh hoppy, hot alcohol bite...nothing smooth about it. The brewers tasting notes do not reflect reality. I'd say it's a dud. On a positive note, it had vigorous carbonation and gorgeous head retention. Too bad it just wasn't drinkable for me.

    Machine House Dark Mild.

Since I tend to like barrel aged beers, I have gotten used to beers with little to no carbonation. But this beer was very thin and bitter. Did not care for it at all.

Almost had my first one last night with Rivertown Soulless, a Flanders red that, unfortunately, had a lot of soy, vinegar and sherry flavors on top of the usual tartness and oak. Decided at the last minute to use it as a marinade instead. Can let you know if I end up drain pouring the chicken later tonight.

Southern Tier 2XSMaSH. Smelled and tasted like b.o. and gym socks.

Not Your Father's Ginger Ale. Something very off about it. Medicinal. Two sips and down the drain.

I must be from a different generation. We cut our teeth on Buckhorn, Red White & Blue, & Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull and NEVER had a drain pour. Rule was, if you opened it, you drank it.

Makes me wonder if the beer giants of the 70's were doing things right after all , discuss amongst yourselves...

Funky Buddha Sweet Potato Casserole. Absolutely disgusting, cloyingly sweet and just undrinkable, two sips and down the drain.

    I drain-poured 2 bottles of 2015 Abyss.

    In this scenario: drain=my mouth.

I didn't drain pour it, but I bought a bottle of Firestone Walker Velvet Merkin 2014 on January 2nd this year. The beer was at room temp for its whole lifespan at the market where I bought it.

It was a super foamy pour and had a strange red grape tinge to the flavor. It was not as good as I remember it being but it was far from undrinkable, so I finished it.

Once Perros brown porter. Growler fills were amazing, and once they announced they would start bottling I was happy. Turns out the bottled version was hideous. Down the drain.

Was given a Left Hand Warrior IPA for Xmas by the wife's family for Christmas.

Had two sips the other night and did not think it was for me. Tasted off...might have been an older bottle they snagged or something. I didn't look too deep in to it and just poured it and went for something a little more agreeable.

After midnight, early on January 1, I decided the beer I was having - which is perfectly fine - I just wasn't in the mood for anymore. So I drain poured the rest of the half into the sink and went to bed.

    Life goes on.
