When I started getting into craft beer my two favorites were Alaskan Amber and Goose Island 312 wheat. I thought these were the best and there wasn’t anything much better out there. Obviously tastes change. I have tried them recently, and I was extremely surprised on why I ever liked them so much. So the question is: what were your go-to beers when you got into craft beer/ beer in general and what do you think about them now?
Goose Island was my first "craft brewery" experience. I had their beers often while living in Chicago in the early '90s. I think the BCS beers are still at the top of their game as is the IPA. The others have become somewhat more ordinary.
