    Hi All, It's been a few years since I've posted... but finally doing my first partial mash today. I am brewing a SN Torpedo clone from BYO... however I've lost the magazine. Can anyone help me out with the recipe and some advice on the mash? Very much appreciated.

    This is the all grain Torpedo clone recipe that I've seen:

    Torpedo Extra IPA Clone
    5 gallons
    OG = 1.070
    FG = 1.018
    IBU = 70
    SRM = 11
    ABV = 7.2%

    Ingredients:
    14 lbs pale malt
    11 oz caramel malt (60L)
    1.2 oz of 14% AA Magnum (60 mins)
    1.0 oz Magnum (5 mins)
    1.0 oz Crystal (5 mins)
    .67 oz Magnum (dry hop)
    .67 oz Crystal (dry hops)
    .67 oz Citra (dry hops)
    White Labs WLP001 or Wyeast 1056 American Ale

    Mash at 152 degrees. Boil for 90 minutes. Ferment at 68 degrees.

    To make it partial mash I'd replace 10 ibs of the pale malt with 6 lbs of extra light DME. Mash the remaining 4 lbs of pale malt plus the caramel malt in 1.5 gallons of water at 150-152, then sparge in another 1.5 gallons at 175. Add the sparge liquid to the mash liquid, add your extract, and proceed as usual.
