    I give the same credit to McDonald's and Taco Bell. Their consistency and efficiency is astounding.

    Exactly. The only difference is that McDonald's and Taco Bell taste good. InBev runs a phenomenal business. Since taking over, they have driven out cost after cost, first in labor and cutting excess facilities, and then in ingredients. Rice particles instead of whole rice, cheaper hops by cutting most existing hop farmers off, new cheaper malt contracts...masterful in driving out costs. The CEO's cost cutting has been brilliant from a margin standpoint and is well documented. The beer is the same as it always was, great consistency and brewed perfectly to be consistent...but not anymore of a "quality" product than the perfectly repeatable McDonald's hamburger.,,it just doesn't taste as good.

    Agree about the letting it age a bit. Went to my local Costco on Weds, and saw this:

    12 22oz for $12. Cant beat that
