paso robles is the new napa/sonoma of wine. 100's of wineries, small crowds if any and some tastings are even free. bm for specifics if you decide to wine and dine in paso. the city of paso itself has plenty of great places to eat, wine taste and just enjoy the small town life.

The Bruery sells styro shippers. If you need egg crate shippers, I can BM you a place that is likely on your way.

Totally agree with the Paso Robles idea. But Napa for wine can't be beat. If you're stuck in the tourist/traffic hell of Napa, you don't know the real Napa.

If you like Cabernet and California style Chardonnay. I don't, so that eliminates a ton of wine, particularly with tastings of the good stuff running as high as $20. No thanks. Been there, done that.

My tastes run much more towards Sonoma with Italian reds and pinot and such.
