Hey everyone, I will be attending the FOBAB in November, this will also be my first trip to Chicago. I am super pumped for both. Anyways, I know its still a couple months away, but its never to early to start planning. I will be attending the evening session with my wife, and we will be spending the whole weekend in town (11-15, 11-16, 11-17). Looking for recommendations for places to stay, if possible close to the event or with good access to public transportation to and from the event. Looking for places to eat, bottle shops, and anything else I should try and visit while in town. Im sure there are plenty of threads out this with this info, but honestly Im too lazy to look them up. Any help is much apprectiated.
Should also add that we will be driving from Pittsburgh so any recommendations for places to stop along the way are welcome as well.
I just drove from Pittsburgh to Chicago on my way back to Denver. I stopped in Cleveland at Melt and Great Lakes Brewing and highly recommend both. I also stopped at 3Floyds but you were going to do that anyhow. I'll let the locals chime in on Chicago because I was only there one night.
