    Hi all,

I will be in Kansas City the week of June 20th for a work conference and will be staying at the downtown Marriot. I won't have a car so I was hoping to get some suggestions for any good bars/beer shops that might be within walking distance. One night I plan on taking Uber to the Bier Station, but otherwise I'm hoping for so,e good suggestions within walking distance. Thanks in advance

I am looking to catch a game at Mercy Park. Is there a brewery in the stadium?

Flying Saucer, Ruins, Yard House are all downtown and are within walking distance for Craft beer bars. No real bottle shops in that area. Gotta take Uber or something to get to a decent one. A really cool bar that isn't craft beer is Tom's Town Distillery. Good Vodkas, Gins, & Whiskeys.

No there is not a brewery in Mercy Park. Boulevard is a preferred vendor inside Mercy Park, but there is a Yard House right next to Mercy Park and an awesome BBQ spot Arthur Bryants.

Double Shift, Border Brewing, and Torn Label are all nearby in the Crossroads district, 1.2 mi. from the Marriott.
If you're getting a ride down to Bier Station, Mike's and Gomer's are both near there, plus KC Bier Co. a mile south.

How close does the new train run to Double Shift and Torn Label?

The streetcar is a good call, plus it's free. From the Crossroads stop at 19th & Main, it's 0.4 mi. to Border Brewing and Double Shift. Grinders is also right there. Torn Label is 4-5 blocks from there.

If you are making the trek to the Crossroads, Torn Label is the place you should go to. Double shift & Border Brewing are decent, but Torn Label is a notch or 2 above them IMO. They also do a Firkin on Thurs or Fridays, can't remember which day.

Belfry usually has a pretty solid draft list and pretty good food for what its worth. Its down on 16th Street. Also Anton's has an impressive draft list and killer food.
