So. Bottling tonight and I don't think my yeast wash water will be down to proper temp to wash the yeast in my primary after bottling.

Can I just leave the yeast/Trub until morning and do it then?

I know there is always the risk of infection. Anyone else do this?

Can you? Yes. Is it best practice? Probably not.

You don't really need that much boiled H2O to do this, a cold water bath should be sufficient to cool down your wash water...

Chilling the wash water simply hastens the separation of yeast from the trub.

Go ahead and wash with cooled pre-boiled water...put the mixture in the fridge....deal with it separating wheat from the chaff in the morning.
