    SAME

Waitress tells me it's only bottled....and she doesn't offer to get a glass. This is a place which sells quite a bit of local craft beer too, which pisses me off even more. One of the few places in town I can get a good craft, and the lackadaisical waitress barely knows to give me a glass with the bottle.

She was a terrible waitress regardless, but still. YOU'RE THE ONE RESTAURANT IN TOWN WHICH SERVES LOCAL BEER NOT JUST BIG BEER SHIT AND YOU CAN'T SERVE IT AS IT SHOULD BE?? GAH.

beer that is marketed as "craft" (Shock Top and Blue Moon being the first that come to mind) but are owned by Anheuser-Busch or Miller Coors. Only the people who really do their homework investigate. So there are tons of people who think they're drinking true craft beer, when they're just drinking beer cleverly marketed as craft.

Funny that you say that, because I have been a kitchen manager for 4+ years now, as well as having a big responsibility with front of the house. I find it unacceptable when one of my coworkers cannot properly describe our small craft beer selection. Describing the kolsch as just a "crisp ale" or the shock top like a "blue moon" is not good enough for me, and especially not to the customers. If you are going out and paying almost four dollars for a beer you should know what you are getting.
