I have two: my first real WOW! was my first actual craft, having an Oberon in a bar in 2000 or 2001. I was a loyal Labatt Blue drinker up to that time.

Second was my first DIPA (wish I could recall my first IPA, but try as I might...), Bridgeport Hop Czar, which immediately kicked my head in with the hops. I had only been casually craft in between those times, primarily with Boulevard and Schlafly's more maltier, paler options, and certainly not to the great volume that I now seek out and consume.

Two Hearted Ale. If you remember Two Hearted back in about 2003 or so it was orange and hazy and very piney. I loved that beer. I remember the labels looked like they were printed from a home computer. That stuff set the bar for IPAs.

That was my first wow beer too.

Is it just me or did Two Hearted change in appearance since the early years? It's almost always crystal clear now. I remember that stuff being hazy, and orange, with quite a bit of sediment in the bottle. I don't think the flavor has changed much... I guess they improved their production methods.
