I am doing a short stint of work in this area of NY on monday/tuesday next week and wanted to know where I can go for a new brewpub.

How far is Peekskill or Captain Lawrence from Fishkill???

Please Note: I usually travel as far south as Poughkepsie, so I go to Half Time and every brewpub north of Poughkepsie every month.

I have some family in fishkill and I'm able to get to the pleasantville spot in about 40 minutes. Elmsford should be just a little further down the road. Make sure stop in hopewell beer and soda just outside of fishkill. Lots of good stuff including the captain bottles

Decicco's Market in Brewster is only ten minutes further than Hopewell Beer and Soda, as it is right by exit 19 on Rt. 84, and is far superior, and has a kick ass pub inside as well as fantastic bottles selection and counter fill growler station. Peekskill Brewpub is a half hour from Fishkill off Rt. 9, Hudson St. exit. Captain Lawrence is not open for tasting every day, so check, but is twenty minutes past Peekskill. Golden Rail in Newburgh is a great craft bar, right off North Plank.
