I'm sure you know, but in case you don't - The 2015 Barleywine is not doing so well (along with 2015 Coffee). If you haven't called in for your refund, do it soon - deadline is 2/29: http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...unty-coffee-bourbon-county-barleywine.374030/

I know that it may be bad, but I'm waiting a year or so to try it. If it's good, then good. If not, then oh well. Thanks for the heads up anyways.

Everyone is saying they may have been drinkable at some time, but are getting worse as time goes by. So get your refund regardless, and hope it works out for you.

Saturday night while driving in an area I'm not totally at, I recalled a rep told me a certain C store still had Prairie Pirate Noir. I whipped in there and got the last two bottles! It totally made my weekend!

Finally cracked a Westy 12 last month to celebrate a pretty monumental life moment, and it was really wonderful to rediscover how a single beer can screw-up your conceptions of what beer can be, can taste like, can evoke, etc.

Was also lucky enough to try Abraxas at a recent bottle share. Holy super mega delicious.

Discovering Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA being served in the Amtrak bar car on the way back from a business trip from NY. At first when I saw some guys drinking it, I thought they were beer nerds who had brought their own. Blew my mind. Not so long ago the best you could expect was Bud and skunky Heineken.
