I have some fizz drops that came with a recipe kit I ordered. I read some reviews on them and people either love or hate them. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with them ?

Carbonation drops are fine for extra bottles you weren't planning on, but for routine priming of large batches, table sugar is much cheaper.

They work. They are easy. But you cant adjust carbing level at all.

Ya my main issue is you can't control carbonation level.

If one wants to control carb level they should probably be kegging as priming calculations and proper mixing is a little bit of a crap shoot also, imho

I haven't had a lot of luck with them.

There is some truth to this. You're never really sure about how much residual CO2 is in the beer at bottling time, and even more importantly, people can't or won't measure their actual volume of beer making it into the bottling bucket.
