FL area stout recommendation

    a friend is currently in the clearwater/safety harbor area. what recommendations would you have for good stouts/flavored stouts/coffee stouts available in the area?

    As always, your friend should start with this thread. As far as stouts and what-not go, here are the breweries in that area where your friend might find some on tap: Barley Mow, 7venth Sun, Dunedin Brewery, Rapp. Willard's Tap House, Brewers Tasting Room, Dunedin House of Beer all have good lineups. Go a little farther afield and there are a BUNCH of options. I've seen Cigar City's Puppy's Breath (American porter) still around in bottles.

    thanks for the info. most of it appears to be about breweries and bars though. any recommendations on bottles to snag in the area? interested in bottles for him to bring back to MN.

    CCB's Milk Maid white stout is still available here in bottles. Do y'all get Terrapin stuff in MN? They make nice stouts/flavored stouts and your friend can find that in Total Wine or Leuken's in Clearwater.

    You may still see Coppertail / CCB Sabotage on shelves. I recommend grabbing this one (or a few!)
