Any bottles of this still out there? Anyone traded one, or for one, recently? One of the most memorable beers I've ever tasted and would love to know there is still some out there to be had. Not that I have the ammo to get it done, but hey...a guy can dream!

I got offered one when I posted my DDG for trade but I didn't take it. This was back in September I think?

Never had DDG, but you probably should've done this deal. Flaming Fury is an unbelievable brew!

Yeah I probably should have! Flaming Fury sounds crazy good, although DDG ended up being one of my favorite wilds ever.

I had a bottle a couple months back and it seemed kind of over the hill (one dimensional, enamel stripping sour, no fruit, etc)... YMMV

I've got one (NFT) I traded a RareR DOS growler for. I've heard it's going downhill, I need to drink it.

Opened one last month. Did not enjoy. Never had fresh but I'd say this one was over the hill. It hurt.

I had a buddy open one in December for my birthday. It was pretty awful to be honest and we both wished he had actually traded. Jose you did the right thing by passing on it lol.

I had one in February, and while it was no where near as good as when it was fresh, I wouldn't say it was bad. Was a bit acetic, but from what I remember it always was a touch. Fruit was pretty faded, it was still there but just slightly.

I traded for a bunch back in '09 when it was good.

Haha good to hear then, DDG was holding up very well last time I had it (maybe in February?).

The one you sent me was drinking great on March 23rd. Did I send you the picture of that tasting btw? Did a HUGE Gueuze and oysters tasting with your DDG making an unexpected experience.

I think cellaring conditions might be the cause for a lot of bottles dropping off. I have heard of some still being good in the past year. Very few though.

Yea I have to give Cavemanlawyer the props here. He set the whole thing up for our group once he realized how good oysters are with gueuze. You won't be disappointed!
