Does anybody know how Kulmbacher dates there bottles?

    Eku 28 + Kulmbacher Eisbock,
could imagine the germans to even write Best Before 1 year on there. But got a selection
of different best befores I want to give a tasting (gonna be hell of a sweet drinking night) soon but would like to know there ages beforehand.

    Thank you,

If you buy the bottles in Germany, they will definitely have a best before date on the label. That's legally obligatory here. Don't know about the bottles that are exported, always depends on the laws in the country it goes to.
But, apart from all that: I wouldn't recommend neither EKU 28 nor Kulmbacher Eisbock too much. Especially, the EKU 28 was rather disgusting, I thought.

The bottles have a best before date but I don't know how many years are between production and best before.

    I know what you mean.
I wouldn't drink neither Eku 28 nor the Eisbock before 3 or 4 years. Before that theyre sweet sweet stuff.
But i had very got 6-8 year old bottles.

The Eku I have has best befoer 2011 and the Eisbock best before 2012.

    Kulmbacher answered.

    Eku 28: 18 months – best before
Kulmbacher Eisbock: 12 months – best before
