I don't know whether it will head down the charts, but it's not my favorite, and I haven't even had too many DIPAs. I just did a blind tasting, and I put Hopslam, Hop Wallop, and Maharaja ahead of it. My other friends mostly liked Hopslam and Racer X the best. They definitely liked PtE, but it wasn't the favorite, let alone the head-and-shoulders favorite.

On another note, I had my other PtE bottle myself last night, and I need a few days off from IPAs now.

Good to see Fuller's Vintage ale up there. Definitely a world class beer.

Wow…Thanks for sharing that 2006 list.

What’s interesting to note is that is 2006 38% of the beers where made outside of the USA, while in the 2013 list the percentage is cut in half to only 19% of the top 100 are made outside of the USA.

One of my favorite beers of the “day” was listed at #17 Abbaye Des Rocs Grand Cru (Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs) which back then was 10%abv. It has since changed in my opinion, (but still very good), once its name was changed to Abbaye Des Rocs Grand Cru Belgium Special Brown which came it at 9.5%abv.

    Cheers
    Mike
