I recently purchased a ballast point sextant 1/6 that I tapped on Thanksgiving. Only problem I have is it tastes flat. Temperature is at a steady 36 and co2 seems on point with filling time. It is a nitro keg and I dont have a nitro fitting. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Is it supposed to be uncarbonated? Is it a bad keg? Am I doing something wrong? Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

Am I missing something or did you answer your own question by saying it is a nitro keg and you only running co2 to it.
Sounds like you need a premix beer gas mix. Some guys can fill it into a standard co2 tank so you can use your existing regulator too.

Nitro kegs are undercarbed because the nitro faucet displaces co2...high pressure co2 will make a mess going through the faucet with over carbed beer, but using beer gas/nitrogen you will not overcarb the beer are the higher pressure settings. If you want to carb it up just turn your gas up to 12-14 psi for a week then back down to dispense.

This was my first keg and I didn't ask for nitro. I'll try playing with the psi and see if that helps. Thanks @bigk84
