Recently I had an idea to mix some coconut La Croix water with my session stout to make an extra sessionable coconut stout. It kind of worked. It would have been better if it were a bigger stout, so it could be less watery, but the coconut flavor and the stout flavors complemented each other. This was an unscientific blending, but I'll guesstimate the La Croix was about 20% by volume. Then I remembered an article somewhere about Mike McDole making something like an imperial pilsner and adding carbonated water to it to drink as a session beer. This is the flavored version of that. Anyone here ever do anything along these lines?
