Not your typical blonde. Very citrus forward without ****** your taste buds. Very flavorful.

Whatever is in my fridge when I feel like a few beers. Some sessions are long, some are shorter. It's a pitfall of being in my mid thirties and still using the "college fridge that won't die" as my 36 can/22 bottle max capacity beer fridge. It it's full of fbs that's what I drink, chimay, Guinness, fruh, whatever is in there I have at least two or three. I suck at planning sessions. If I have a session beer during a session it is purely because I wanted to try that beer.

Haven't tried Summer, supposed to be at ACBF.
Agreed with Banner American, but Blatant Session really tasty.

Im really enjoying some Victory Summer Love...lots of citrus IPA-like character on a light body pilsner.

Also, Magic Hat Pistil. I was just about to start a thread on this...
This is a fantastic summer session! This is similar to a Fantome Pissenlit without the actual "bugs". The acidulated malt really makes this brew quite different and sets it aside from much of the "session" brews. Super drinkable with so much flavor...I really do recommend this HIGHLY under-rated brew.
    Thoughts????

Brau Brothers Hop Session is only 4.2% and I have seen it at specialty stores here in MI. OddSide just started to distribute Simcoe Sensation, 4.5% ABV. Personally, other than Shorts Prolonged Enjoyment, haven.'t seen much under 4%. As expected, all of the lower ABV stuff I have seen/tried lacks balance and is one-dimensional hoppiness, not that I am complaining.

It is an American Pale Ale. Albeit a rather light one at 3% ABV.

It's a little higher than your normal session, but I think Prima Pils is just as good as anything for that purpose.

My favorite though it's quite a bit above the Marquis limit of 4% ABV , but it's flavor and smoothness and depth of complexity in a very clean and subtle product make it a winner for me. Sadly it's gonna be a while before I have any more of it.

It was a lovely little beer. I was amazed when I found out what it really was after looking at Maclay's brewing records.

I keep trying this beer and everytime I'm dissapointed. Overcarbonated , thin and I think could have better flavor. Little overrated in my opinion

I know it won't help the OP but Yards Brawler is pretty tasty at only 4.2%. Think it's only available in PA, NJ, VA and MD but, if you or someone you know is passing through, see if you can score some.
