Alpha Session from Drake's is out right now in 4 packs for around $7.50. It's 3.8%!! Right now it's fresh and delicious.

    other go-to sessions:
    DayTime (July)
    Bitter American
    Pintail Pale Ale
    Alesmith X

little higher abv, but south of 7:
    Drake's 1500
Knee Deep Citra Extra Pale Ale

A little out of the session range, but I really enjoy the Rolle Bolle from New Belgium. Lots of flavor and refreshing.

I had a Notch Left of the Dial this weekend and thought it was excellent. 4.30% abv. It was by far the best of the new crop of lower abv IPAs I've tried. Less watery, a bit of malt there to fill it out, just delicious.

Full Sail Amber, Samuel Adams Boston Ale, and SN Pale ale are all very sessionable beers. Not as much flavor with Samuel Adams Boston Ale compared to the Full Sail and SNPA

English-style bitters fit that and are probably the earliest of the session beers . Goose Island Honker's Ale is a widely available example.

I bought a sixer of Firestone Solace last week, very pleasant stuff. Has a good amount of flavor for something <5 abv

Not an IPA, but Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella Pils is a good all day beer.

Same with Hotter than Helles from Cigar City.

Both very tasty for a day of binge drinking.

This past weekend we had unusually warm weather here in the Seattle area. 80 degrees and kinda muggy. So, looking for something lighter, I grabbed New Belgium's summer seasonal Rolle Bolle.
It is kinda sour, and definitely thirst quenching. It's 5.5% ab. however, so keep that in mind. I'll have it again, for sure.

I picked up a 6 pack of Baba and a 6 pack of Wyld from Uinta. Both are 4%. Baba is a flavorful black lager and really hit the spot. Great sweetness, roast presence, and goes down easily. Wyld is a subtle pale ale with a cleaner malt profile and a nice hop presence in the aroma and flavor. It's balanced, subtle, and very drinkable.

At 4.4%, Tallgrass Ale (now called Pub Ale) is tasting pretty darn good right now.
