    what did you think?

    i only had a 4 oz sample as part of a flight.....was a little let down considering how much i love bpa and rare vos.

    i did feel a smell and aftertase of white grape juice....am i crazy or did anyone else notice that?


    not a bad beer at all, but it didn't live up to the other ommegang offerings. i guess that's what happens when you set the bar so goddamn high

    Nope. No white grape flavor. Just hoppy Belgian pale ale goodness. Probably my favorite summer seasonal this year.

    I'm in agreement with BigJim - my favorite summer seasonal I've tried so far this year. Have not had it on tap - only in the bottle.

    I'm new to the style but grabbed one as part of a mixed-six this weekend. I would definitely spring for a 4-pack. I remember the mouthfeel on this one being particularly good.

    In my opinion, Fleur De Houblon is a very, very tasty Belgian Pale Ale. An excellent combination of ‘Belgiany’ flavors with hop flavor/aroma.

    Does this remind anyone else of Houblon Chouffe--strong hops, soft mouthfeel and effervescence--or is the similar name affecting my judgment, or am I just a master of the obvious?
