Every bottle by Real Ale I have had has had floated in it.

Come on... Really? I just opened number 6 and no floaties. It's cloudy, but no floaties. You've had other beers from them that look like that?

Out of curiosity how was the pour?

What do you mean? I poured it gently, so not much head was expected. You're seeing it within a minute of the pour. Are you asking if it was undercarbed?

No just wondering if it was an aggressive pour, I have only had it on tap, and it was a little hazy. Guess this is the downside of getting bottle conditioned beer, every now and then one of these is going to pop up

It's definitely hazy. Is it bottle conditioned? I gathered it was just unfiltered.

...and does bottle conditioning lead to floaties? The only beer I regularly drink that I know is bottle conditioned is SN Pale Ale. I've had hundreds of them and never seen a floaty.

The only beer I regularly see this in is belgians and some beers done by Baird Brewing from Japan. For the Baird beers I am always very careful when pouring as you will end up with a lot of sediment, but nothing like the stuff in your picture. Not sure how it was bottled, but seems like you might have ended up with some dregs or for some reason the bottle was agitated, but that doesn't sound like it since it was #5, was the taste ok? I do know that me and shock top do not get along. Every time I have a couple of those it practically tears my stomach up.

Three Lions had some floaties. But I love me some floaties in my IPAs

Looks like the Molotov Lite I just poured.

Seriously? That's not normal. I've had dozens of them and they've never looked like that. Thinking back, my Three Lions might have had a few, but nothing like that.

...And someone changed my title. Get the plurality right!

The last time I saw a pour that bad was from a 5 year old Goudenbond which had been stored on its side at room temp. There was no avoiding stirring things up. That really does seem a little excessive for Real Ale.

Just bought another sixer from the same batch and the first two looked similar(not quite as extreme). After a few Alpines, they still tasted awesome.
