    Floodland Brewing FAQ
    Last updated 09/15/2019

Floodland is a brewery in Seattle. We sell bottles online for in person pickup via an email list. We do not have a taproom. Frequently asked questions are answered below.

Where can I find your beer?
    There are three ways:
1, we do online "public" sales for in person pick up in Seattle several times per year. The sales happen via email, to get those sign up for the reserve list by registering at https://floodlandbrewing.vinespring.com/register
2, we usually have bottles for on site consumption at Willows Inn on Lummi Island, Aelder/Hogstone on Orcas Island, and Ursa Minor on Lopez Island.
3, we sometimes send beer out for events. Check our instagram for announcements. We don't do much draught beer and we do not have a taproom.

How do I get your beer?
The FAQ for Oakworks and public bottle sales is located at http://floodlandbrewing.com/oakworks.txt

    Do you have a taproom?
No. We are focused on putting out bottled beer.

How do I find out about _______?
Floodland is a small operation. We have an instagram which acts as a one way, intermittent source of information; it is not monitored and we do not see DMs. Although there have been intermittent phantom facebook pages put up we maintain no other "social" media.

You can email info at floodlandbrewing dot com with questions and if it isn't answered here or on the Oakworks faq linked above we'll do our best to respond.

The best way to get general news and information is to sign up for the new mailing list on floodlandbrewing.com. There is also a Floodland thread in the NW section on TalkBeer that I respond to questions on.

    When was this beer bottled/released?
We mark fruited beers based on harvest year and saisons/unfruited beers based on the release year. Because of our lengthy bottle conditioning, this means most fruit beers are released in the year following the fruit harvest. There is a log of bottles which have been released with packaging dates: http://www.floodlandbrewing.com/bottles.txt

    Why is your website text?
    We make beer, not websites.

To anyone in this thread visiting the city and hoping to try some Floodland, the Masonry in Fremont, Lucinda Grain Bar and Junebaby are spots in Seattle where you might get lucky and stumble on a bottle for on-site consumption. Not guaranteed but it happens.

Cherry/Raspberry Field Blend and Timeworn & Aflame both on draft at Bottleworks for their 21st anniversary party today. Just a friendly PSA.

Not Seattle, but also Ursa Minor on Lopez Island, and Hogstone on Orcas (which are worth visiting for their food regardless should one be on either island)
