My fiancee and I met a couple of friends at the new Floodwater Brewing Company in Buckland, MA (virtually in Shelburne Falls...right off of rte 2 west of Greenfield/I-91). I was highly impressed with the quality of their offerings. It's a small, 3.5 barrel brewery that opened in Nov. Beers on tap were a blonde ale(my favorite...so good), a saison and a rye porter. They knocked it out of the park on all three. Beautiful little taproom too. Head brewer/owner was behind the bar, and said he uses mainly Valley Malt barley etc. from Hadley, MA.

Taproom serves full pint pours and does growler fills. Hours are Thursday/Friday 6-10pm, Sat. 1-10pm and Sun 1-5pm.
HIGHLY recommend a visit by anyone in Western Mass. or traveling north/south down 91. It's about 15 minutes west from I-91 in Greenfield.

Not a huge online presence, but here's their Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/floodwaterbrewingco/

    Cheers!

Love it. First time in Shelburne Falls, Sat on the balcony overlooking the river and had a great porter for $5. Would definitely go back.

Currently at their Novemberfest. Branded stein filled for $10, and with a single exception of the NEIPA, $5 pours (looks like that's an all-the-time price, too). Totally cute though quite small taproom, reasonably priced and tasty beers, and of the 6 offerings, a single pale ale and a single IPA. Count me in on this place moving forward.
