What's the going rate for a bottle of Flora these days? (Not Satsuma Mandarin) E.g. what have you recently heard it going for lately?
Seems to be a little less than satsuma, but not by much. I've gone 1:1 with Damon to land more Flora for myself. They've been going roughly 1:1 with Armand bottles from what I've seen. I've also seen Damon go 1:1 with Herfst
It was hilarious that my bottle from the February 2012 batch would result in crickets when I was looking to trade it earlier this year. But now that the new batch has come out, it's pulling some pretty crazy stuff. I couldn't be happier that I didn't trade it. I forgot how good it is. It's the best beer Hill Farmstead has made, imo.
It hurts that I have 2 so I could trade one, but I just wanna keep it so badly bc I've heard how good it is from so many people.
Same thing happened with Mimosa. Tried to trade mine last year after it came out, got nothing. Glad I kept it.
I was trying to trade it through June of this year. I guess I just needed it to be released again hah. But, seriously, it's the best beer I've had from them. Just spectacular.
Last time I had it was batch 2 or 3 I think. Heard the new ones are even better, can't wait to try it.
I hardly ever do. Only HF trades I do other than growlers are ones like when I traded a CD6 and MC1 for Gom and phenomenology, but I don't think that counts lol.
