Florida Craft Beer Suggestions

    I'll be going to Florida for a week, and I'm interested in trying what Florida has to offer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Cigar City Brewing and Swamp on a Hill come to mind...depending on where in FL, I would try to visit Pegs.

    Florida is a big state-where will you be. Also, to echo what everyone else will say-Cigar City. Except Jai Alai.

    Where in Florida? Cigar city in Tampa, of course.

    Jacksonville has intuition which I would recommend. Gainesville has Swamphead which has some solid beers I enjoy. Funky buddah in boca. I'm sure there are a lot more.

    Where will you be in Florida? Obviously get some Cigar City but we can suggest other breweries or beers to try if you tell us what area you'll be visiting?

    Check out Seekabrew.com and see what is offered in Florida that is not available in your home state. Cigar City of course and Tampa Bay Brewing Co. from the Tampa area.

    Not sure how widely available yet but we have a Cocoa Beach Brewery. I only drink Stouts and Porters so I'm not sure how their other beers taste but I was pretty impressed with their "Not Just Some" Oatmeal Stout. Very small brewery but so far I'm excited about them.
